Position Details:
Location: Rochester, NY
Hours : 6am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri (some overtime is likely)
Pay: $19.00/hr
Duration: 6 Month Contract (W-2 Only)
Who We're Looking For:
Candidates with the ability to build noncomplex optical / electrical / mechanical sub-assemblies within quality requirements. This person should be reliable and detail oriented.
What to Expect as a Mechanical Assembler:
Ability to build sub-assemblies within quality requirements, goals, and demands.
Ability to Assemble/Disassemble per manufacturing drawings and work instructions.
Electro – mechanical, comfortable with tools, and understanding work instructions.
Individual follows written “standard work” processes, accurately records data, and provides input /feedback during team discussions.
When engaging with team members, this individual works effectively with others. This individual is reliable and complies with all company / departmental policies & regulations. Operates with direct supervisory support.
Maintains all DHR Record compliant with FDA and ISO standards.
Requires standing, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, walking.
Use of hand tools with repetitive motions
Qualifications for Success:
HS Diploma or GED/HSE is required
Minimum of 1 Year of mechanical- electrical assembly work experience and/or military technical training
Understanding standard work processes and flows
Experience working successfully in a team environment
Change Management (flexibility, versatility, adaptability, dependability, responsibility)
Computer skills.
