Job Summary
Role Overview:As a pivotal leadership position within the management team, this role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation of our operations, including Automation Project Management, build on our shop floor facilities in Rochester, Painted Post, and Memphis, along with field operations at customer sites throughout installation and commissioning. This position focuses on executing high-quality automation systems and solutions that meet scope, budgets, and schedule, while driving revenue growth. Key responsibilities include the development, documentation, and verification of new designs and processes, improvement of existing processes, and management of the teams.
Effective collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance is crucial to synchronize operational efforts with the company's goals. The ideal candidate will nurture a collaborative environment centered around teamwork, instilling uniform practices and cohesive culture across all sites.

Shop Manager – Rochester, NY (with 8 direct reports)
Shop Manager – Painted Post, NY (with 8 direct reports)
Shop Manager – Memphis, TN (with 8 direct reports)
Inventory and Material Control Specialist
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Utilize Excel, Power BI, and other computer tools for data-driven analysis to lead the identification of trends and continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to the development of long-term strategic goals
Plan operations strategy, including capital investment for facility efficiency and safety
Foster a culture of continuous improvement in collaboration with senior management
Plan and execute professional development for operations staff
Maintain rigorous employee engagement and review processes
Manage project communications and facilities activities
Manage subcontractors and temporary labor to meet installation deadlines
Coordinate resource allocation with the VP of Lifecycle Services
Support sales efforts, including customer presentations and facility tours
Prepare for installation including site readiness
Develop KPIs to measure functional team performance
Standardize and manage job boards and workspaces
Drive progress and clear roadblocks
Up to 20% travel required
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, technical discipline, or equivalent experience preferred
10+ years of managing Project Management and Manufacturing, demonstrating career growth and increased responsibility
Proven operational leadership, including achieving revenue targets

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $125,000 - $150,000. The salary range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Adaptec Solutions considers factors including, but not limited to experience and geographic location.
