Pay Rate: $15.60

Per Diem

GENERAL SCOPE: Answer all incoming telephone calls to facilities, act as the day shift receptionist for the facility, greet and welcome visitors, staff and residents. Perform various clerical duties that facilitate the smooth operation of the program.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION: High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to read and write well. Familiarity with medical terminology would be helpful. Good organizational and interpersonal skills. Experience with Word, Outlook, and Excel helpful.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Acts as front entrance receptionist/ maintain visitor and resident sign in/out log.

  • Place and answer telephone calls; insure calls are forwarded to proper extension.

  • Communicate with visitors and residents; provide information assistance.

  • Answer intercom calls and relay messages to Enriched Living Staff. Monitor Roam Alert and Helpcal systems, make appropriate notification to staff via radios.

  • Make appointment for residents when asked; keeps track of medical appointment schedule.

  • Provide emergency notifications/monitors alarm panel for smoke and fire and directs staff to the scene.

  • Assist with coordination, scheduling and communication of specific resident events as requested.

  • All other job duties as assigned.

    EXPERIENCE: One (1) year experience in a position with similar responsibilities.
