Peopleready, Skilled Trades Division is currently accepting applications for experienced commercial carpenters in Rochester, NY. Successful candidates will receive competitive pay, medical, dental, vision, FREE OSHA 10 training, and more!

The pay rate for this job is $24 - $28 / hour

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Measure, cut, and hang drywall to required specifications

• Assist in framing up walls and installing sheathing

• Install crown moldings; Assemble and fasten materials using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue

• Cut and nail headers and blocking

• Fit and install of window frames, doors, interior and exterior trim, wooden door frames

• Perform all duties in compliance with site safety and building requirements.

 Qualifications:

• 3-5 years previous experience in the commercial construction

• Industry and knowledge of the materials, methods, and tools involved in the commercial construction field.

• Ability to accept direction and work as a team player

• Demonstrate dependability to work a regular schedule including nontraditional hours including weekends.
