Description

Nick Pignato is currently working with a client seeking a Purchaser. The Purchaser will negotiate contracts with vendors for the best price and value on new products and services. This may be the role for you if you are an experience purchaser with excellent communication, inventory management and analytical skills.

What you get to do every day

• Engage with new vendors and products at events, shows, and exhibitions

• Update all records of purchased products

• Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams, making sure that goods are received on time

• Examine purchased products upon delivery and note any issues

• Attend and contribute to meetings with staff and other stakeholders

• Write reports on purchases made and performing cost analyses

• Research and analyze potential services, vendors, and products, with the goal of getting the best price and quality

• Discuss and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors

• Monitor inventory and writing orders to refill stock

  Requirements

• 1-3+ years purchasing experience

• Outstanding organizational skills

• Top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
