Rochester Housing Authority Business Analyst in Rochester, New York

TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:

Interprets information and organizes it into coherent and comprehensive business process models following an Enterprise Architecture discipline and framework:

Supports the integration of new business processes with enterprise systems and technology;

Ensures proper and timely communication of future state;

Coordinates system implementation with vendors, troubleshooting as needed;

Facilitates meetings between user departments and IT staff to develop future state processes;

Conducts training of system users;

Facilitates the process to improve business processes;

Conducts software testing;

Sets up and configures software;

Plots work flow;

Provides new technology application support;

Identifies access, approvals and privileges of various roles;

Tests new systems after vendor us selected and during implementation;

Trouble shoots system problems.

FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

All the Entry Level KSA’s PLUS

Knowledge of Department policies, practices and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

I. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or closely

related field PLUS one (1) year of experience in process reengineering which involved defining and analyzing business process for the purpose of implementing improved process and new or modified business systems.

OR

II. Any Bachelor’s degree PLUS two (2) years of experience as described in I.

Special Requirement: Willingness to be on call on a 24 hour bases.
