$260,000 - $385,800 a year
Description
The Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology-Oncology at the University of Rochester is seeking Associate Professor applicants with M.D./Ph.D. or M.D. degree or equivalent with experience in clinical research for faculty position in the Hematology Program including Classical Hematology, Stem Cell and Cellular Therapies, and Hematologic Malignancies . Our multidisciplinary programs include radiation, imaging, and pathology sub-specialists. The predominant criterion for appointment is a commitment to clinical excellence, research, and teaching. Mentoring fellows, residents and medical students and possessing creativity and strong interpersonal skills in order to work with a collaborative and diverse faculty will be essential. The Wilmot Cancer Institute is the major resource for comprehensive cancer care, research, education, and community outreach in upstate New York. Our facility provides fully integrated inpatient and outpatient clinical, clinical research and laboratory space for Cancer and Hematologic Medicine, a key component of the Medical Center Strategic Plan.
