General Description
Catholic Charities Family and Community Services (CCFCS) is in the process of moving over to a new Client Management application. Under Direct Supervision and using an existing process, the application specialist will assist programs in developing their workflows and processes to fit the new application’s structure. This will be a mix of technical skills and project management, perfect for MIS or IT majors. Effectively supports ongoing and collaborative communication amongst all program staff and is responsible for ensuring a trauma informed care environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists Programs in migrating their data and workflows to new application
Collects and documents program workflows and processes
Assists with configuration of the system to support workflows defined by programs
Assists project manager with weekly tasks to progress the project goals.
Provides IT technical support for applications within the agency’s suite of client management tools
Assists with training on new system
Validates or troubleshoots system performance as required.
Serves as IT resource for peripheral devices (printers, signature pads, scanning, etc.)
Assists with creation and maintenance of reports, using data from multiple sources and other sources to ensure the optimal use of resources and provide management tools and KPIs
Maintains the confidentiality of all client records per the requirement of OASAS and HIPAA.
Participates in relevant Agency meetings and/or trainings
Actively pursues development of professional competencies related to job role performance through reading, supervision, in-service training and attendance at conferences and workshops.
Awareness and active support of the Agency's Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Plan. Including, but not limited to, supporting the Agency's Core Competency initiatives of being Collaborative and Community Focused, Innovative and Entrepreneurial, and Culturally Competent and Diverse

Qualifications
Qualifications
Education: Should be Senior or have extensive experience in application management or project management.
Desired Skills:
Proficiency with PowerBI and other MS tools
Superior attention to detail, research, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Stellar communications skills, both in-person and in-writing
Highly flexible, adaptable, realistic, practical, and agile
Knowledge of medical services terminology
Customer service skills required with a focus on end-to-end resolution
Ability to manage time and multiple requests from users of various levels of experience
