Job Description:

Leads and directs the development, implementation and oversight of the Admitting department to ensure consistent management standards and procedures. Collaborates with the Director of Patient Flow and other leaders within Highland Hospital to establish priorities and implement problem solving initiatives. Directs the development, implementation and maintenance of process improvements to ensure compliance of patient and hospital standards. Provides day-to-day direction of Admitting staff both clerical and clinical roles, to include, staffing, scheduling, work processes, patient access, training, budgets and financials. Must comply with HIPAA standards and be sensitive to confidentiality while ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care as a member of the leadership team.

Salary Range:

$55,681.60 - $72,384

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

Education: RN Degree or a degree in Administration or Business Management or appropriate experience in Health Care setting.

Experience: Three to five years of supervisory experience involving roles in both planning and operations in a hospital/healthcare setting.

License/Certification Required: None. Unless in RN role, which requires licensure in alignment with NYS.

  1. Skills: Management Experience; Efficient in EPIC Reporting and Dashboards, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access
