Hannah Savage Robert Half is seeking a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become an essential part of a non-profit organization. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, your duties will include matching, batching, and coding invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks. You will also assist with other administrative tasks as needed. The Accounts Payable Clerk role will be situated in the Rochester, New York area and is a permanent employment opportunity.

• Assist with internal and external audits as needed

• Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling

• Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

• Execute full-cycle A/P

• Provide support to internal business partners

• Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis

• Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks

• Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

• Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

• Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills

• 1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

• Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

• Proficiency in Administrative Assistance

• Team player, willingness to help with additional tasks as assigned!
