Alkegen strives to deliver high quality products to our customer base. That’s why we’re looking for a skilled quality engineer to support our factory in Rochester NH. The right candidate will have a quality first mindset, excellent problem-solving skills and rigorous attention to detail, focusing on continually improving the quality of our products. We also want a strong communicator who will work closely with the production team.
Objectives of this role:
· Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits.
· Develop procedures that ensure quality of the products.
· Work with the production and engineering teams to eliminate non conformances.
Responsibilities
· Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of products to verify conformance with specifications and deliverables
· Investigate product complaints and reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines.
· Develop or update company complaint and inspection procedures to ensure capture, investigation, and proper documentation
· Monitor production to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development teams
· Provide training and support to team members focusing on their role in ensuring quality products are produced
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
· Prior experience with the automotive industry within a tier 1 or tier 2 environment.
· Superb analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
· Excellent people skills

Preferred skills and qualifications
· Professional certification(s) such as Six Sigma, CQE or CQA
