Nexus Mental Health Practitioner - full time, mid shift in Rochester, Minnesota

Description Nexus Family Healing is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to join the Southeast Regional Crisis Center (SERCC) based in Rochester, Minnesota, for mid shift, 9am-9pm. The typical 2-week schedule is: On M/T, off W/T, on Fri/Sat/Sun, off M/T, on W/T, off Fri/Sat/Sun. Nexus-SERCC's Mental Health Practitioner's goal is to provide skills and services in the treatment of children, adults, and/or families as prescribed in the client's Diagnosis Assessment and Individual Treatment Plan as directed and supported by the licensed clinical supervisor. Position Summary: The role of a Mental Health Practitioner is to provide skills and services in the treatment of children, adults, and/or families as prescribed in the client's Diagnosis Assessment and Individual Treatment Plan as directed and supported by the licensed clinical supervisor. Primary responsibilities include: Under the direction of the licensed Clinical Supervisor, the Mental Health Practitioner will participate in the intake process, development and implementation of the client's Individual Treatment Plan, and delivery of skills services for assigned cases which may include: Completion of required intake process and forms. Completion of the Diagnostic Assessment. Development and implementation of the initial Individual Treatment Plan. Review of the Treatment Plan at least every 90 days. Provision of individual, group and/or family skills as proscribed by the Treatment Plan goals. Provision of Case Coordination with family members, other professionals, school staff and community supports as needed. Immediately notification and deference to licensed clinical supervisor in case of crises and emergencies. Coordination of referrals for adjunct services as appropriate. Completion of clinical documentation in compliance with program expectations. Attendance and participation in mandatory clinical supervision and team case consultation meetings in accordance to program expectations. Completion of education and training experiences in accordance to program expectations. Compliance with all agency, state and regulatory standards Location, pay: Salary starting around $50,000 per year $200 commute stipend bi-weekly for employees driving 45+ miles Rochester, MN Required Education and Licensure: Bachelor's Degree in a degree in behavioral science field, Social Work, or Psychology. Must have completed 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience delivering clinical services to treat mental health and emotional disturbances with a trauma focus. 1-2 years' experience working with high-risk youth and families. Valid driver's license required and meet the state regulating agency and corporate driving requirements. Background and sexual conduct clearances required. Preferred Education and Experience: Current Graduate student in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields and is formally assigned by an accredited College or University to this agency for clinical training. Master's degree or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or University.
