The Electroencephalographic Technician Assistant supports the Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy Monitoring Technologists at Mayo Clinic by preparing patients for electrographic studies and performing such other tasks that are necessary for patient comfort and safety while the patient is being evaluated in the Department of Epilepsy.
Qualifications The minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or GED.
Additional work experience in a patient contact, health-care area is desirable.
Ability to adhere to policies and procedures, alertness, interaction, versatility, coping, and commitment to task.
Exemption status Non-exempt
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $15.54 per hour.

Schedule Supplemental/On-call/Per Diem
Hours / Pay period Varied
Monday-Friday 5AM-7AM and every third weekend 8:30AM-3PM. Employee would have the Friday prior to weekend and the Monday following weekend as scheduled days off.
Weekend schedule Every third weekend, Saturday-Sunday, 8:30AM-3:00PM
