FANUC America Corporation (FAC) is currently searching for aManager-Operations (Logistics)to manage warehouse / logistics functions including receiving & distribution, warehousing (at FAC and offsite), administrative, staffing, and leadership. The Manager-Operations will provide a positive, continuous improvement-focused style of leadership with a can-do approach within the Corporate Logistics group to insure optimal performance of the department. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Manage warehousing at FAC and offsite, including shipping & receiving activities and insuring cycle count program objectives are achieved.

  • Mange the location/disposition of material with the appropriate transactions.

  • Monitor the department operating budget, operating expenses, and headcount in order to meet and/or stay under allowances.

  • Own the department’s quality-related procedures, work instructions, and forms and continuously optimize departmental procedures and processes.

  • Develop group business plan.

  • Insure timely and accurate materials movement and transactions.

  • Maintain packaging standards for incoming and exiting material.

  • Provide training & development of staff, as well as leadership, mentoring, and support to supervision staff.

  • Provide leadership development plans for high performing full-time employees.

  • Maintain temporary employee / contract worker program including recruiting, scheduling, and training.

  • Continuously develop employee empowerment throughout department.

  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Purchasing (as well as other functional areas) for continuous improvement opportunities.

    Ideal candidate will have the following experience/skills and education:

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management or Business-related concentration, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Minimum five years of operational experience.

  • Previous management/supervisory or project management experience with demonstrated success as a leader.

  • Experience with Oracle WMS.

  • Working knowledge of scanning equipment.

  • Ability to work with others to solve problems with a methodical approach.

  • Excellent skills with written & oral communication, organization & prioritization, and time management & planning.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
