Contemporary Amperex Technology USA Inc Battery Management System (BMS) Engineer in Rochester Hills, Michigan
Support site commission and operation with expertise on BMS System (troubleshooting, CAN data logging, system analysis). Perform verification and validation of energy storage systems to meet federally regulated guidelines for software performance, safety requirements, manufacturability, and functionality. Lead customer's requirements analysis and maintaining. BMS software configuration and integration, develop the BMS solution. Commissioning of utility scale Energy Storage Systems. Investigate problems and diagnose and repair faults on site. Implement requirements using MATLAB/Simulink and C programming. Validate model based designs using desktop simulation packages (MlL & SIL). Interact with other teams to develop controls requirements. Analyze field data to solve issues related to model/c code implementation. Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities. Utilize Vector CANoe/CANalyzer and other software to log, playback and analyze data from EV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) applications and further identify root cause of BMS Faults (DAQ).
Location: 2455 Featherstone Road, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. Telecommuting Permitted. Travel required 20% of time.
