Adecco - Billing Specialist (Medical) - Roanoke, VA Do you have experience in medical billing and dealing with insurance carriers?

Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team in Roanoke, VA! In this role, you will be responsible for processing medical claims, ensuring accurate billing practices, and communicating effectively with insurance companies.

Responsibilities:

• Process medical claims efficiently and accurately

• Research and resolve billing discrepancies

• Communicate effectively with insurance companies regarding claims and payments

• Maintain accurate patient billing records

• Follow internal procedures and ensure HIPAA compliance

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in medical billing

• Experience dealing with medical insurance carriers

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Familiarity with medical billing software a plus

Benefits:

• Hourly rate of $16-$18 per hour

Pay Details: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
