Job Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW :
Functionally responsible for setting the standards and verifying compliance for the design, development, and maintenance of complex systems that meet Project’s delivery requirements. Support the delivery teams in analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying and managing of the user requirements. Support the analysis of stakeholders needs and expectations on technical projects. Lead the system level requirements analysis while liaising with the engineering team. Write plans and guidance as well as technical documentation to support these technical projects including specifications, traceability, verification and validation criteria and deliverables.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
Functional oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex systems that meet Project’s delivery requirements.
Develop and implement improvements to processes/systems and therefore the ability of the program to deliver.
Implement a systems thinking approach across the project to form a fundamental aspect of the teams objective.
Responsible for developing and deploying object management, stage build, digital and other best practice work processes.
Manage the eliciting, analysing, validating, specifying, verifying and managing of the user requirements.
Functional leadership of the system level requirements analysis while liaising with the engineering team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are integrated effectively.
Verify the stakeholders needs and expectations on technical projects.
Manage and maintain system documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and test plans.
Undertake work both within a technical and management setting.
Providing a range of consulting services and be a trusted contributor to project requirements, leveraging knowledge from a RAM Engineering perspective.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Related MSc degree is desirable. 10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering activities in a complex, safety focused, mega-program organization with multiple complex interfaces. Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles. Experience with system administration and troubleshooting. Proven track record of developing and implementing systems engineering and integration strategies successfully.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES :
Proven ability to manage a large group of senior technical personnel and the ability to drive excellence in field of expertise, focusing on safety, quality and improvement of processes and mentoring. Ideal candidate should have excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations required. Must also demonstrate the ability to effectively execute and manage complex tasks. Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific software. Must be capable of conducting focused briefings to all levels of management. This includes effective problem solving and exercising excellent judgment regarding timing and senior management involvement in significant issues. Ability to network across departments and key internal and external stakeholders.
