Do you want to use your broad technical knowledge and deep customer understanding to support our local Service organization? Then we have an interesting position in Grundfos as a Service Technician.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Executing service calls as instructed by the Service Supervisor or Service Coordinator

  • Interact with customers & perform workshop and field service including trouble-shooting / assessment, inspection, reporting, cleaning, reassembly and testing of pumps and controls (Control Panels, Variable frequency drives, etc..)

  • Commissioning of new pumps and pump sets / controls and operator training

  • Prepare commissioning and service reports for Service Supervisor’s review

  • Report on installations & site conditions that impact the operation or lifetime of the products and scope for new service business

  • Assist during service training for customers

  • Responsible for his/her personal commitment to Health, Safety and Environment and of others who may be affected by his/her actions at work

  • Understand and follow the company HSE policy and ensure that he or she are equipped and trained to play his/her part

  • Immediately bring to the Management’s attention any specific queries or concerns relating to the workplace’s health, safety and environment

Your background :

  • An Associate degree or technical certification in the industry

  • 1 – 5 years work experience in similar position

  • Able to work independently

  • Good interpersonal skills for daily interaction with customers and fellow employees, with proactive, friendly, and problem-solving approach.

  • Understanding of pressure, temperature and other operating conditions and ability to service pumps in a production environment.

  • Experience in electrical, power controls panel, mechanical motor, turbines. – correct

  • Capable to work in work environments ranging from a workshop to on-site at construction/building/industrial facilities.

  • Handle a variety of tools and processes, able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 20 kg.

  • Analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose systemic problems.

  • Read and interpret service instructions and IOMs for assembly, repair, reassembly, and operation as required including completion of reports in either paper or electronic form.

  • Technical and application knowledge

  • Trouble shooting, root cause analysis and problem solving
