Parsons Corporation Senior Construction & Logistics Manager in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction & Logistics Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to provide direction and management for every phase of a major program to ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations
What You'll Be Doing:
Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or subtask.
Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected suppliers during the program execution.
Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client.
Assists business development in understanding client issues and business plans in order to market and secure new/additional work.
Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the program, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
Promotes technical excellence on the program, including furtherance of the Quality Improvement Process.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.
Works with individual project managers to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work.
Advises the client and Company management of any such changes.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field from with 25 experience in large-scale infrastructure or city development projects, leading to the position of construction Director on large-scale projects.
Experience of major government and/or semi-government international construction sites with direct professional knowledge and management of the following: site engineering, project controls, environment, health and safety, contracts management and quality.
Experience of implementing a zero accident philosophy.
