Parsons Corporation Project Support Manager in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Support Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to provide support for a portfolio of projects and works closely with Infrastructure Director on strategy, tasks prioritization, and other needs, as required.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assists in planning, execution, and monitoring of projects. Ensure that project tasks are completed according to the project plan.

  • Prepare, maintain, and update project schedules, including critical path analysis and forecasting of key projects milestones.

  • Coordinate cost control activities, as applicable, including budget preparation, forecasting, and management of project expenditures and financial reporting.

  • Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies, identifying potential project risks and developing contingency plans.

  • Facilitate communication and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including projects teams, management, and clients.

  • Oversee contract management processes, including negotiation, execution, and analysis of contracts for compliance and performance.

  • Facilitate change management procedures to register and assess the impact of project changes and ensure appropriate documentation and approvals are obtained.

  • Identify and manage interdependencies between portfolio projects and external stakeholders as well

  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices for future project improvements.

  • Prepare plans, budgets, staff forecasts and actuals and progress reports, if needed, presents to management and client for review or approval.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

  • Strong experience in project delivery aspects

  • Define, create, and maintain, KPIs and KRAs to ensure projects performance monitoring

  • Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management roles in projects that exceed total contract value of 1bn SAR

  • Proven experience in managing project schedules, budgets, and financial reporting

  • Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies.

  • Familiarity with contract management and change management processes

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Power BI, Sharepoint, MS Office suite).

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, if requested

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRiNCE2 are highly desirable.
