The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Riverview

· AdventHealth is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and state-of-the-art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brand-new hospital in Riverview, which is scheduled to open in 2024.

· The new AdventHealth Riverview hospital will include 82 beds at time of opening with space to expand to 202 beds in the future.

· This $250 million project in Riverview also includes a 100,000 square foot, four-story Medical Office Building that will provide community members convenient access to expert care.

The role you’ll contribute:

Work assignment is generally unstructured and employee is responsible for assigning and supervising a variety of functions to achieve the objectives of the section, unit, or project. Duties performed involve weighing and evaluating factors requiring judgment, analytical ability, and problem solving. Employee is responsible for simultaneous coordination and supervision of several functions, programs, or projects in various stages of completion.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Supervises technologists in the performance of examinations and completes exam follow-ups to ensure the effective delivery of services.

· Using My Team, completes all TalentCare and Talent Insights assignments for direct reports

· Explains procedures to patients, answers patient’s questions, and maintains records of examinations and other pertinent information on patients.

· Checks equipment, supplies, and accessories on a regular basis and requests and orders supplies as necessary to keep materials on hand at all times.

· Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, quality improvement, safety, and environmental and infection control standards.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· Completion of a two year hospital or college program in Radiologic Technology upon hire

· Two years of experience performing CT examinations upon hire

· Current professional license in the state of Florida upon hire

· Current ARRT (R)(CT) upon hire

· Current American Heart Association BLS certification or RQI required upon hire
