Intermountain Health Landscape Specialist in Riverton, Utah

Job Description:

Performs general duties in and around the buildings of the facility including equipment installation, repair and maintenance, new construction and remodels.

*This position will do Landscaping and general maintenance inside and outside the facility*

Job Essentials

  • Performs corrective maintenance and repairs on defective mechanical equipment to ensure equipment operates in an effective manner. Completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner.

  • Performs preventative maintenance as assigned to ensure optimum operating efficiency and safety requirements are met.

  • Performs inspections on all incoming equipment per Intermountain Engineering Guidelines.

  • Installs equipment as assigned.

  • Maintains tools and test equipment in proper operating condition.

  • Performs or assists in minor technical, electrical, carpentry, painting and plumbing repairs as assigned.

Maintenance Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance procedures.

  • Experience with a variety of construction and maintenance skills; such as minor technical, electrical, carpentry, painting and plumbing repairs

  • Proven ability to trouble shoot and repair maintenance issues.

Landscape Minimum Qualifications:

  • One year experience in landscape maintenance including irrigation systems.

  • Current driver’s license from one of the 50 United States, Washington D.C., or any of the U.S. Territories.

  • Meets criteria for a routine driver as outlined in Intermountain' s Driver Safety Policy and Routine Driver Qualification Procedure

  • Demonstrated basic knowledge of insecticides and herbicides and their use on turf, trees, and flowerbeds.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate landscape equipment, make minor repairs and perform preventative maintenance.

    • and -
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • and -
  • Demonstrated ability to withstand exposure to extreme weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Trade school in either construction, electrical, carpentry, or mechanical

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
