Job Title: Mechatronics and Robotics Technician

Job Description

As a MRT, you will leverage your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will also have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. Additionally, candidates will assist in dismantling equipment as the location is closing.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors.

• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.

• Perform battery changes and preventative maintenance on batteries.

• Enter downtime data in daily log and complete PM sheets.

• Manage work orders within a CMMS.

• Possess basic electrical knowledge.

• Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment.

• Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts.

Essential Skills

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

• Experience with automated conveyor systems.

• Complete preventative maintenance routines.

• 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls.

• 2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.

• 2+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.

• 2+ years of experience following and demonstrating safety standards.

• 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.

• 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Industrial industries performing maintenance on complex systems and industrial equipment.

• Experience running diagnostics, inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, and creating work orders.

• Specific experience with conveyors and other material handling equipment (MHE), including controls and robotics.

Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse environment. You will be working with advanced technologies and equipment. The role may involve varying shifts and requires adherence to safety standards and protocols.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Riverside, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.30 - $34.30/hr.
