Psomas Land Survey Intern in Riverside, California

About being our Land Survey Intern

As aLand Survey Intern, you will utilize your skills to contribute to the execution and delivery of survey projects while working in a team-oriented setting and interacting with coworkers in the office. (Field work, as needed)

Responsibility Highlights for our Land Survey Intern

  • Process survey field data and data entry
  • Perform COGO calculations
  • Field to finish CAD (Civil3D and/or MicroStation) drafting of survey data
  • Prepare CAD basemap drawings
  • Researching record deeds and map analysis, and plotting easements from deeds
  • Filing of field notes and other survey-related tasks

Minimum Qualifications for our Land Survey Intern

  • 3rd or 4th year student, majoring in Engineering or Surveying from an accredited university
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during
  • Successful completion of Introductory and Advanced Plane Surveying courses, as well as computer-aided drafting fundamental coursework
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD (Civil3D and/or MicroStation)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
