Sodexo Healthcare is seeking an inpatient Registered Dietitian to join its team of clinicians at Riverside Community Hospital.

Riverside Community Hospital is a 513 licensed bed, full-service acute care hospital in the heart of the Inland Empire and a leader in providing advanced, comprehensive health care to the Inland region.

3 weeks vacation and 3 personal days!

The successful candidate will:

• Be a Registered Dietitian with at least 1 year of acute care experience preferred;

• Provide nutritional care for inpatient units, primarily general medicine, ICU and coverage as needed;

• Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;

• Educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses;

• Precept dietetic interns.

Housing the largest Emergency Room and Trauma Center in the Inland Empire at 80 beds with an average wait time of only 15 minutes and is one of Riverside County’s only STEMI receiving centers and is a fully accredited Chest Pain Center. Centers of Excellence include the HeartCare Institute, offering invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures, Cancer center, Center of Excellence for Surgical Weight Loss, the Transplant Program and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
