We are currently hiring a ­­­­­ Billing Service and Solutions Specialist in the HUB Financial Center (HFC) , the centralized accounting team for HUB International. We are seeking individuals who are great with ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­customer service and relationship management.

Reporting to the Carrier Team Manager, you will work closely with our Direct Bill team. We want to continue to improve our carrier relationships and internal accounting support.

What you'll do

This role interacts with the Direct Bill team, and will be responsible for the following:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with our carrier and brokers

• Ensure prompt and efficient follow up on any issues/ requests

• Research commission payments and obtain statements to route for processing

• Correspond and communicate with internal departments and carriers regarding inquiries

• Identify trends within assigned workflows to ensure service level agreements are exceeded

What you bring to our team

• Required 2-3 years of demonstrated customer service in banking, finance, or insurance field

• High school diploma/GED required (College degree preferred)

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, professional demeanor, and presentation

• Effectively work both independently and as part of a cross-functional and collaborative team

• Superb problem solving, time management and organizational skills

• Ability to successfully build and maintain professional relationships

• Strong knowledge of MS Applications to include Excel and Outlook

• Exceptional training and onboarding program. Note: if the successful candidate lives within the vicinity of our Riverside office, the expectation is that the initial 4-6 weeks of training is completed in our office to ensure new hires are properly set up for success.

The expected salary range for this position is $20 to $25 per hour and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
