In Advanced Systems Design we are developing cutting-edge Mechanical Transmission Systems (i.e., accessory drivetrain & power gearboxes) for Next Generation Narrow Body applications.
In this spirit, we are currently seeking a qualified individual to take on the pivotal role of Power Gearbox Module Owner. You will lead a team of talented engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of our Future of Flight initiatives.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
The Module Owner utilizes experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, affecting short-term and long-term goals.
Lead the end-to-end design and technology development of the Power Gearbox, from concept ideation to prototype implementation.
Define and drive the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with project objectives and industry standards.
Champion innovation and continuous improvement in gearbox design, performance, and reliability.
Coordinate with GE Aerospace global teams and partners to ensure proper integration of the gearbox module in the engine.
Liaise closely to Systems team to ensure program priorities are properly flow down to the design team.
Drive the resolution of technical challenges and provide timely updates to stakeholders on project status and milestones.
Qualifications/Requirements
Master Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university.
Proven track record of leading complex engineering projects from concept to production, preferably in aircraft propulsion or powertrain systems.
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
New Product Introduction process experience.
English and Italian fluency.
Work VISA, according to local regulations is required.
Desired Characteristics
Deep understanding of gearbox design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
