Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

As a Production Worker, your primary responsibility will be running automated machines that make and pack cotton swabs. In addition, you will be tasked with visual inspection of all packaging to ensure there are no rips or tears and that the packages are completely full and ready for sale. Your duties will also include consistently lifting 35lbs boxes, packaging materials, ensuring the quality of all products, stacking 35lb boxes on a pallet, packaging, taping, and stamping boxes, weighing boxes to ensure they are of correct weight, loading new boxes into the machine, clearing jams on the product line, and packing and stacking one box every three minutes. Training will be provided on the first shift for two weeks.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Work Environment

The work environment is a 24/7 manufacturing plant. It is fast-paced with loud machinery and involves repetitive tasks. The company is very safety conscious and requires PPE daily. The position may involve working alone or with a team to hit daily quotas. The shifts are 12 hours long, with a rotating schedule of 7P-7A, 2 on, 2 off. The shift rotation example is as follows: Work- Mon/Tues, OFF Wed/Thurs, Work Friday/Sat/Sun, then Off Mon/Tues, Work Wed/Thurs, Off Friday/Sat/Sun (36 hours 1 week, 48 2nd week).
