Job Title: Overnight Maintenance Technician 12 hour shifts 32/hour starting ASAP

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of production equipment in a manufacturing facility. This includes both reactive and proactive maintenance, as well as mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive and proactive maintenance on production equipment

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

• Repair motors, conveyors, and other industrial machinery

• Conduct preventative maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Read and interpret technical schematics and drawings

Essential Skills

• 2-3 years of experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of equipment or engines

• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems

• High mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and drawings

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred 2-year technical degree or similar training

• Electrical experience

Work Environment

The work environment is a 24/7 manufacturing plant with loud machinery and humid conditions. The current opening is for the day shift, Monday to Friday. Training will be on the day shift, with a probable assignment to a 12-hour night schedule (7pm – 7am) rotating.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00
