Job Description:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS\ High School Diploma or an equivalent\ Proficient in the English language\ Two or more years of experience operating mills and lathes with the ability to make a bushing with little to no supervision\ Some CNC Machine operating experience (Years of education will be considered)\ This position is safety sensitive and adheres to DOT drug and alcohol regulations
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES\ Operate mills and lathes\ Fabricate and repair high tolerance bushings within scheduled deadlines\ Read and interpret blueprints, engineering plans and other technical data\ Requisite and maintain raw materials and tools\ Some setup and operation of CNC (HAAS) machine\ Routinely perform preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery\ Wear proper personal protective equipment as necessary\ Coordinate with and support the CNC operator and other machinists as necessary\ May be required to work an occasional weekend or evening shift to meet deadlines
\ SKILLS AND ABILITIES\ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.\ Machine parts within 0.0005 tolerance\ Attention to Detail\ Stand for extended periods of time\ Deductive reasoning\ Reach with body, arms and/or legs\ Manual dexterity\ Near Vision\ Active Listening
