FST Technical Services Cost Engineering Analyst in Rio Rancho, New Mexico

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring proper controls are followed for construction projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assures accuracy of financial forecasts with tie-in to project schedules.

  • Exercises sound decision making processes to support the project while ensuring that the proper controls are followed to lead to a healthy project.

  • Escalates issues in a timely manner.

  • Interacts with other Fab Construction Enterprise groups, contractors and the customer finance and operations groups.

  • Collects and transmits historical data to support Benchmarking efforts.

Qualifications/Experience/Key Attributes:

  • Bachelors, Masters or MBA degree in Construction, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in construction cost engineering analysis

  • Intermediate level MS Excel expertise

  • Thorough working knowledge of Construction Project Controls, Cost Engineering, Finance, Accounting and Business Analysis

  • Experience working on large (over $20 million) construction projects

  • Experience working with Power BI, MS Teams, CPM, SAP

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multitask

  • Managing ambiguity

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and team-oriented environment

  • Ability to communicate and listen to others well

  • Ability to resolve ambiguous business problems
