Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are hiring for a Stand-Up “High-Lift” Forklift Materials Handler. A Forklift Material Handler moves and stores various non-hazardous materials within a warehouse. Their main duties include loading and unloading products.

Responsibilities

• Operate a standup reverse steering forklift safely.

• Use RF guns and handheld devices to systematically move products throughout the warehouse.

• Accurately cycle count and keep precise records of movements.

• Keep production tables stocked with products to complete work orders and replenish when needed.

• Load and unload trucks.

• Work in a high-paced/high-volume production environment.

• Meet the needs of the production tables and respond accordingly, such as transfers.

• Alert appropriate leader of any issues with the product or materials and await directions to rectify the problem.

• Document or report damages to supervisors or leads.

• Help clean and organize the warehouse at the end of the shift.

Essential Skills

• Identify products through reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet identification numbers.

• Apply basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
