JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Sr. Director, Sales Training you will own the delivery of our Ten-X sales training program, from efficiently onboarding new sales hires, to helping established Sales Account Executives continuously level-up their performance. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all sales individual contributors and leaders have the tools, skills and knowledge to be successful in their current roles while continuing to develop their careers at Ten-X. You will work closely with senior sales leadership to analyze and define the training and development needs of the sales organization by creating and measuring the effectiveness of a variety of resources designed to deliver relevant, high impact programs and tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all new-hire and advanced-level training for sales ICs and leaders, from early career to executive-level.

  • Supervise, monitorand report on the progress of trainees during their training period.

  • Continue to provide follow-up coaching and developmentpertaining to job performance tofor new employees post initial training;identifyareas of development early on and correct in real time.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to create and lead the design of job-specific curriculum, job aids, training collateral and KPIs.

  • Establish and mange processes to operationalize the delivery and tracking of sales training.

  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate performance data to assess training effectiveness and identify new training needs.

  • Manage training delivery to inspire sustained success during training period and beyond;

  • Create collateral for classroom, e-learning, and a variety of other instructional techniques.

  • Coach and communicate with sales leaders to ensure they are effectively supporting, implementing and promoting sales training across their teams.

  • Maintain the training program repository to ensure it remains complete and up-to-date reflecting the current market, as well as being recognized as a CRE-industry leading program.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • A completed bachelor's degree from an accredited, not for profit university is essential.

  • Demonstration of commitment to prior employers.

  • 5-7 years of experience in a field sales/sales management role, preferably in commercial real estate or Software as a service (SaaS) technology.

  • 5+ years of experience in sales training and enablement having created a sales playbook.

  • Must have previous experience managing full-cycle sales professionals in a metrics -driven, quota-carrying environment.

  • Mastery in common sales methodologies (i.e. Solution Selling, MEDDICC, Consultative Selling, etc.).

  • Passion for teaching and developing others individuals and teams to their utmost potential.

  • Makes pragmatic, data-informed decisions based upon the story that the data tells.

  • Complete understanding of the sales ecosystem, process and its value to a selling organization.

  • Knowledge of dynamic training principles and techniques across different platforms (i.e. classroom, on the job, e-learning, instructional methodology, blend learning, etc.).

  • Experience in commercial real estate is required, additional sales experience in PropTech, Real Estate Tech or FinTech, a plus.

  • Expertise in Salesforce.

  • Ability to travel up to 35% of the time, nationally.
