The Senior Director, Product and Portfolio Marketing is a global position accountable for creating and driving new client facing solutions for clients. This role is a key leader in the organisation, and leverages a strong foundation to help drive radical business transformation with an emphasis on consistency, predictability and efficiency of messaging that will ultimately help NTT Ltd attain a leadership position in the market. This role provides leadership and solution management around the development and delivery of value propositions and messaging for assigned solution offerings and service lines. This role strives to create focused, high-impact solutions and messaging for NTT's product portfolio that is grounded in deep customer and market insights; craft inspired, well positioned stories to excite prospects and customers and invigorate our internal teams; help reduce churn and improve NTT's position in the market through increased engagement and product usage within its customer base.

This is a leadership role responsible for coaching and mentoring senior marketing product/portfolio professionals to achieve organisational and team objectives. This role fosters a culture of positive attributes, collaboration, and growth within their team and organisation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develops a Portfolio/Solution Marketing practice that serves as a key external face of the organisation to inspire our customer base and attract prospects

  • Provides leadership in the development, planning and execution of a clear marketing strategy and compelling messaging that will drive the achievement of COMPANY’s business strategy

  • Owns positioning, messaging, and content associated with how we bring our diverse product portfolio to market across our target customer segments

  • Contributes to the development of an annual marketing plan that details the marketing, promotional and advertising activities for a fiscal year

  • Contributes to the development and implementation of go-to-market plans to be used to target existing and potential markets and clients

  • Creates tools such as calculators, EBCs or thought leadership to move clients further down buying journey

  • Partners with sales enablement to enable sales with marketing messages and value props

  • Uses the intelligence and information gathered from market research to inform marketing activities, develop marketing models and to identify the market requirements for current and future products and services

  • Energises NTT field team through compelling enablement materials like positioning, motions, playbooks, and other tools that help them ramp faster and deliver winning propositions to our clients

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • A deep love of positioning and the written word

  • Technical expertise (for interlock with Product management) and in-depth product/service knowledge across (all of) COMPANYs service lines

  • Service-line specific, as well Cross-COMPANY product / service positioning capabilities

  • Skilled at partnering with VP and C-Level executives in driving business decision-making and product road mapping

  • Excellent and persuasive communicator

  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives

  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management, senior executives and staff

  • Collaborative and agile leadership style with enterprise-level problem solving abilities

  • Strategic thinking and tactical implementation

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing, communication or relevant field

  • Master's degree or equivalent in business or marketing preferred

Required Experience:

  • Substantial experience in a product marketing management role preferably in the high-tech industry

  • Substantial experience in launching new high-tech products and communicating benefits

  • Substantial demonstrated experience managing complex projects and executing on marketing

  • Substantial experience working with ICT solutions

  • Substantial Project Management experience

  • Substantial experience in software or technology B2B product marketing

  • Substantial experience launching new technology products or solutions

  • Substantial demonstrate experience leading and managing a team
