Role Description:
The Senior DEI Recruiting Specialist will report to the VP of Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion while closely collaborating with our Talent Acquisition team. This role will play a pivotal role in advancing our commitment to DEI through strategic recruitment initiatives. As a Senior DEI Recruiter, you will focus on attracting, engaging, and retaining a diverse talent pool while ensuring inclusive and consistent hiring practices across all levels of the organization.
*Responsibilities: *
Recruiting : Will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting for positions as assigned by the VP of Global DEI. Oversee full-life cycle recruiting processes for multiple requisitions for cross-functional teams. Build and manage candidate pipelines, develop and execute on a DEI sourcing strategy, properly assess candidate qualifications, and present and close opportunities effectively. Drive for results, be inquisitive, perpetuate a sales and service orientation towards clients and candidates and be a strong relationship builder.
Strategic Planning : Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, hiring managers and HRBPs to develop and implement strategies to recruit underrepresented talent. Adjust easily in a dynamic environment and have a passion for the company and your craft.Know the market, understand business strategy and priorities, and build and grow diverse talent networks.
Diversity Partnerships : Cultivate relationships with diversity organizations, educational institutions, and community groups to enhance our recruitment efforts and build a diverse talent pipeline Partner with DEI Program Manager on marketing and development of DEI content for our internal and external facing platforms and represent the Company in external DEI forums, conferences, and events.
*Basic Qualifications: *
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.
A track record of commitment to prior employers.
5+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience in a corporate or agency environment; to include 3+ years of experience with a concentration on recruiting diverse talent.
Proven experience recruiting diverse talent for corporate and senior level management roles.
Demonstrated experience managing requisitions across multiple disciplines.
Proven ability to proactively work with hiring managers to drive the recruitment process.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (we use Eightfold) as well as LinkedIn Recruiter, Facebook, and other social recruiting platforms.
Extensive knowledge of effective strategies designed to advance DEI in the workplace.
Experience utilizing diversity job boards, target company cold-calling, and other sourcing mechanisms to identify diverse candidates.
Demonstrated knowledge of diversity recruitment best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
*Preferred Qualifications and Skills *
Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships.
Proven track record of hiring Sales Professionals, Software Engineers, Product Developers or Account Executives is a plus.
Experience with Workday
PHR or diversity certifications
Talent Acquisition/Recruiter certification
