We are seeking a powerhouse Senior Creative Director who will lead the strategy, creative direction, and production for all content on the Homes.com site. Tens of thousands of videos, millions of photographs, tens of thousands of content rich pages with narratives and articles – all of them authentic, with no skimping on local flair. Up for the challenge?
You will have a large internal content team including creative directors, writers, videographers, photographers, editors, outside vendors and other production partners to support your creative vision as we continue to build out the Homes.com platform.
You will be responsible for curating purposeful and compelling visual narratives to truly showcase neighborhoods, schools, parks, condos and agent directories for Homes.com audiences. You will be hands on, building and leading a world-class team as they navigate the complexities of content production on an enormous scale.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the creative vision and innovative strategy for planning, production and postproduction for all original content on Homes.com.
Develop and evolve the creative road map and priorities in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Recruit, hire and lead a team of world-class creative directors responsible for the creative vision and evolving direction of Homes.com’s neighborhood, park, school, condo, and agent pages.
Set a high creative bar and execute work that delivers against those objectives. Translate business objectives into creative strategies that inform content production.
Create brand standards, training, and quality assurance of visual media.
Drive the achievement of creative goals and strategic solutions to meet brand, marketing and sales objectives, working closely with partners and your team.
Foster ongoing improvements to creative processes and methodologies.
Aid in the development and evolution of CoStar’s enterprise software for content production. Analyze, refine, and develop processes that achieve improved visuals across CoStar’s family of brands.
Work closely with the SEO team to deliver content that drives traffic. Continuously revise and improve content based on consumer engagement.
Manage cross-functional collaboration linking production to marketing, legal, product, sales and development teams.
Foster a collaborative culture to achieve a better creative and business result.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required
15+ years of creative management experience across a combination of agency and in-house environments
Extensive experience working with writers, photographers, video editors and other artists
Must be a clear strategic thinker and creative problem solver
Demonstrated portfolio showcasing leadership and proven success in visual storytelling
Experience directing and effectively critiquing high-volume creative work from internal producers and agencies
Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
Strong presentation skills, with the ability to present to and influence Senior Executives
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills and comfort working in an entrepreneurial environment
A strong relationship builder with an ability to facilitate ideation, collaboration, and decision-making
Hybrid work schedule is available, Monday – Thursday in office working as a team, optional Friday work from home available.
