As a Product Manager on the Associate Experience product team you will embark on the mission to connect customers in the Capital One enterprise with simple to use, digitally enriched experiences that are designed to enhance the associate experience. This role represents the needs of the customer to inform the platform roadmap ensuring the capabilities being delivered are aligned with the intended business outcomes. You will be responsible for feature definition and partnering with tech teams to deliver platform components. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about technology and deeply empathizes with internal and external customer needs. They are comfortable in conversation with engineering teams as well as stakeholders ranging from developers to senior leaders.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead Technical Integration Strategy: Define and execute the overarching technical integration strategy for the acquired company's digital workspace and endpoints, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to end-users.

  • Develop Integration Frameworks and Processes: Establish comprehensive frameworks and processes to guide the technical integration efforts, addressing areas like data migration, systems consolidation, and user onboarding.

  • Champion Associate Experience: Act as a strong advocate for the associate experience throughout the integration process, gathering feedback, addressing concerns, and ensuring smooth adoption of new tools and technologies.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Foster strong partnerships with IT, HR, and other key stakeholders to align on integration priorities, address dependencies, and achieve shared objectives.

  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain clear and transparent communication channels to inform stakeholders about integration progress, address potential challenges, and manage expectations.

  • Maintain Confidentiality: Exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality regarding acquisition and integration details, safeguarding sensitive information.

  • Drive Innovation: Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies and innovative approaches to enhance the integrated digital workspace and endpoint experience.

  • Define key metrics to track success or prioritize features

  • Translate requirements of large data initiatives into smaller actionable items

  • Champion data literacy within the organization and drive adoption rates

  • Understand how to leverage data to surface insights and strategic opportunity

  • Conduct market assessments, user interviews, and testing

  • Map out data personas and consumer profiles

  • Make objective arguments to influence stakeholders

  • Track usage to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy for key components of the platform.

  • Deeply understand the needs of associates across Capital One.

  • Perform A/B testing to learn with speed

  • Set OKRs and KPIs

  • Prioritize the Product Backlog to maximize business and customer outcomes.

  • Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.

  • Enable collaboration and ensure communication between teams.

  • Maintain a healthy backlog of work and play a critical role in many agile ceremonies.

  • Support the team with escalation and resolution of impediments.

  • Serve as the connection between associates, Capital One’s mission, and your team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in product management or at least 3 years of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

  • MBA or Master’s degree

  • 7+ years of experience in Agile product management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $199,100 - $227,200 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
