Job Title: Maintenance Technician II

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team at our industrial laundry facility. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment and possess a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment, reducing downtime, and maintaining a safe work environment.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Richmond, Virginia.

Work Environment

Industrial Laundry Facility. The facility supports hospitals and doctors/outpatient facilities. The 'blue building' supports hospital facilities that run 8am-5pm type of schedule whereas the 'white building' supports 24/7 hospital type of facilities. The work environment is fast-paced, with not much sitting around. You need to be able to be on your feet for roughly 8-10 hours a day. It is also hot in certain areas around drying. The facility is warm during the summer and cold during the winter. You need to be okay with hot/cold environments. SHIFT: Initially Mon-Fri 5:00pm to 1:30am, but after 3 months will move to either Sun-Wed 12:30pm-11:00pm OR Wed-Sat 12:30pm-11:00pm.
