TEKsystems Healthcare Program Specialist - Remote in Richmond, Virginia

Healthcare Program Specialist

Fully remote with equipment provided!! Opportunity to help patients access needed care!

Details:

Hours – Monday-Friday an 8:00hr shift between 8:00am - 6:00pm

Paid Training: Approximately 4.5 weeks

A day in the role…

· Quickly and efficiently respond to incoming calls and faxes, identify how best to assist.

· Conduct insurance verifications to understand if patient’s prescribed therapy is eligible for coverage.

· Possibly coordinate prior authorizations, investigate alternative insurance coverage, or other funding sources on behalf of the patients per the program specifications.

Core Experience:

  • Major medical experience

  • Specialty Pharmacy

  • Customer Service Representative – 2 years healthcare NEEDED

  • Insurance benefits verification support

  • Call center previous experience - 1 year

  • Experience working remotely

  • Computer/technology experience

  • Strong communication skills
