Intel Data Center Technology Solution Team Execution Leader in Richmond, Virginia

Job Description

Be a Technology Development and Solutions execution leader in Data Center Platform Engineering and Architecture (DPEA) within the Data Center and Artificial Intelligence Group (DCAI). DPEA is responsible for engineering and enabling platform solutions across Intel's Data Center businesses that enable Cloud, Enterprise, Edge, and Networking Data Centers. You will play a central role in helping Intel develop exciting new Data Center opportunities by defining and delivering technologies to our customers as a Data Center technology solutions leader. This role will focus on Intel's Data Center sustainability initiatives aiming to improve system power and thermals through liquid cooling technologies.

The Data Center Technology Solution Team Execution manager position will lead a cross-Intel team of experts representing the functional disciplines responsible for bringing technology solutions to market. This team will consist of internal representatives from multiple engineering disciplines, platform enabling, ecosystem enabling, customers, business verticals, architecture, design, IP, validation, go-to-market, and more. This position demands strong leadership skills to drive the team to develop business strategy, one-voice decisions and recommendations that will be reviewed and ratified by product and product line GMs across DCAI.

Primary Job Activities:

  • Lead cross-Intel teams to make/recommend technology direction decisions and changes.

  • Define and prescribe solution direction and activities required.

  • Track and manage deliverables and dependencies.

  • Manage complex feature, schedule, cost, and performance tradeoffs.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders and customers.

  • Communicate upwards to senior management on team direction, status, and recommendations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering.

5+ years of experience in architecture, design, platform execution leadership and/or product management of Data Center compute solutions.

2+ years of additional experience defining business strategies and technical product requirements with successful execution.

5+ years of experience in the following:

  • Server hardware and ecosystem enabling.

  • Technical and product customer solution deployments.

  • Data Center workloads and usages.

  • Bridging customer needs to product implementation.

  • Driving business and executing decisions.

Preferred Qualifica tions

  • Master of Business Administration.

  • Experience with a variety of thermal-mechanical (especially liquid cooling) and signal integrity technologies used with CPUs/GPUs and servers, rack, and Data Center infrastructure.

  • Experience in product management and data center product planning process and how to successfully drive products to completion.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
