Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an experienced Construction Project Manager! The selected candidate will be part of our clients' dynamic team, leading large cross-functional teams in the deployment of enterprise-wide construction projects and programs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, deploy, and support Project Management Methodology for the organization.

• Lead and manage matrix teams of teammates and vendors delivering business solutions across the company.

• Define project scope and objectives to ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities.

• Maintain and submit clear, concise status reports and time management reports.

• Employ good project management practices and techniques to document, monitor, and control interdependent tasks and sub-tasks.

• Proactively track project progress against commitments and identify potential problems before they occur.

• Review and recommend changes to applications for payment by contractors.

• Serve as the owner’s representative at construction meetings.

• Continually improve upon your own and your teams' skills through lessons-learned reviews at project completion.

• Recognize and articulate problems, bring the right people together to solve them, and ensure they are properly addressed and closed.

• Offer suggestions on less expensive material and shorter lead time substitutions.

Requirements • Proficient in Customer Service with a strong focus on meeting client expectations and maintaining strong client relations

• Excellent Communication Skills required, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with stakeholders

• Familiarity with Office Functions including documentation, reporting, and training procedures

• Knowledge of Materials Handling within construction projects

• Understanding of Budget Processes and ability to manage project funds effectively

• Commitment to Quality assurance, review procedures, and adherence to best practices

• Proven experience in Project Management within the construction industry

• Capability to Supervise teams and manage work progress efficiently

• Proficiency in the use of 'About Time' project management software

• Experience in dealing with Vendors and managing retail aspects of construction projects

• Ability to track project progress and provide Metric Reporting for the same

• Knowledge of Construction methods and materials

• Strong Time Management skills to ensure project timelines are met

• Familiarity with project Specification and ability to adhere to the same.
