About The Opportunity

The Federal Reserve Facilities team is seeking a skilled Carpentry/Construction Worker to join our team for a prestigious Class A office space. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-end commercial construction, with a strong focus on precision, quality, and safety.

The Construction Mechanic will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks involved in construction and maintenance of Class A commercial building. This includes cabinetry, Sheetrocking, ceiling tile installation, carpeting, framing, painting, and duct work. The ideal candidate will be collaborative and have a diverse skill set with a strong attention to detail ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Locksmith skills are preferred but not required.

What You Will Do:

  • Cabinetry/carpentry

  • Sheetrocking

  • Ceiling Tile

  • Carpeting

  • Framing

  • Trimming/Finishing

  • Ceramic/Vinyl tile installation

  • Door hanging

  • Painting

  • Duct work

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Vocational training or certification in carpentry or construction is preferred

  • 5 -9+ years of relevant work experience

  • Proven experience in carpentry and construction, particularly in Class A commercial building

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent Communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and equipment

Preferred Skills:

  • Cabinetry/ Carpentry

  • Duct installation and repair

  • Locksmith skills, including the installation and repair of locks and security systems

  • The hiring range of this position is $51,600 to $70,950 annually.

  • Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.

  • This position is required to be onsite on Monday through Friday each week during the hours of 7:00am to 3:30pm.
