CAT Repair Solution Site Scanner Tech

PRIMARY PURPOSE : To inspect, identify, and evaluate auto vehicles involved in a loss.


  • Set-up and maintain 3-D estimating vehicle scanner at the CAT site.

  • Driving vehicle into scanner, run scan and return vehicle to customer.

  • Complete 3D damage report by using scanner technology on-site at the deployed CAT site.

  • Ability to explain the vehicle scan process and technology.

  • Soft sell repair process and explain the programs benefits.

  • Off-season requirements support local appraiser coverage, desk review and quality assurance team.

  • Travel up to 75%.


  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Must be able lift 25lbs

  • Ability to stand long periods of time.


Education & Licensing

High school diploma or GED required. Licenses as required by state guidelines.


Three (3) years of related experience to include at least one (1) year of appraisal experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of automobiles

  • Ability to understand and utilize appraisal software

  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent negotiating skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies

Pay Transparency

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $53,021.00. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
