Business Analyst III

Location : 0-3 times/month in office if located within 50 miles of a PulsePoint Office.

Responsible for serving as the liaison between the business and IT in translating complex business needs into application software.

How you will make an impact:

• Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.

• Utilizes specific business application software to address complex business needs.

• Develops reporting, identifies, and coordinates data sets, involving those outside the unit, to create provider reporting.

• Works with staff to ensure requirements are incorporated into report creation design and testing.

• Acts as a resource to users of reports to address questions/issues.

• May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team.  

• Will use SQL, Tableau, EDW, Teradata. etc. to create reports sent to external providers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years business analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

• Strong proficiency in SQL, with demonstrated expertise in database management, creation, and optimization for efficient data storage and retrieval.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and VBA, with a solid understanding of advanced formulas, data manipulation techniques, and automation through custom macros.

• Skilled in using Report Builder, with the ability to design, develop, and customize data-driven reports to effectively communicate insights and drive informed decision-making.

• Proficient in Power BI and Tableau, adept at creating visually impactful and interactive dashboards for data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence purposes.

• Expert level knowledge regarding healthcare data sets, pharmacy and medical claims.

• Business Information Developers are encouraged to apply.

• Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $ 68,080 to $122,544.
