Analyst II- Technology Operations Delivery

From inception to completion, you will work alongside senior team members and platform engineering teams to implement hardware solutions and maintain processes that enable continuous delivery, optimization, monitoring, and ongoing support. It takes a passion for learning and utilizing new technology and techniques to deliver solutions at the speed of the business. To ensure this transformation and growth, CarMax is looking for an EUC Analyst II to work with Business, Application, and Infrastructure teams to leverage industry best practices, emerging trends, security compliance standards, and agile development methodologies to deliver best in class solutions to our IT partners and CarMax customers. Working collaboratively and creatively as part of the technology delivery team, you will help drive agile deployments of modern technology and work environments. Essential responsibilities of this position are as follows
Provide technical expertise to deliver medium to large end user hardware, software, and structured cabling projects through effective project management, customer interaction, and IT coordination.
Partner with IT teams to develop delivery plans for new technology.
Configure, troubleshoot, and diagnose desktop hardware, peripherals, and collaboration solutions including Teams video conferencing equipment as needed for projects.
Partner with construction teams to deliver technology to new work environments including new site deployment and existing site remodels and expansions
Partner with vendors to optimize equipment orders.
Lead 3rd party vendors for remote hardware deployments.
Drive through obstacles and time constraints to successfully deliver projects to completion.
Create and maintain documentation and knowledge base articles.
Report regularly on project status.
Implement tactical projects and software releases using predefined project methodologies.
Limited overnight travel. Be available for occasional after-hours and weekend deployment activities.
Stay on top of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve what we do and ensure our customer and associate experience is the best it can be.
Required skills and experience are as follows.

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Communicate effectively to a wide range of internal and external audiences.

Assist in training others in best practices, procedures, and concepts.

Experience with multiple hardware\software platforms

Basic PowerShell knowledge
MS Teams video conferencing hardware (Poly, Logitech, Neat)
Modern endpoint management (SCCM, Intune, MECM)
Education and\or Experience :
4+ years of experience within the IT industry
2+ years degree in IT related course of study
4+ years of experience in Windows Operating Systems, Windows, IP based networks, Microsoft Office products, MacOS and peripheral equipment (printers, scanners)
Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Work Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the Technology Innovation Center and the CarMax Home Office in Richmond, VA and have a Hybrid work arrangement
