Insight Global Account Executive in Richmond, Virginia

Job Description

  • Prepare accounts for new business and the renewal process as directed by the broker.

  • Initiate renewal reviews to deliver optimal client coverage and suggest steps for client retention.

  • Support the broker in creating market submissions and quote cover letters for agents.

  • Build relationships with brokers and demonstrate understanding of brokerage operations to proactively support business needs.

  • Collaborate with the broker to drive renewals and solicit new business through client referrals.

  • Prepare new business strategies in collaboration with brokers, including proposals and presentations for new client opportunities.

  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with accounts.

  • Maintain accuracy of new and existing data in internal systems.

  • Generate reports on performance and other defined metrics.

  • Leverage data and insights to inform the broker on portfolio trends.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contractual obligations are met.

  • Resolve invoicing issues with stakeholders in Premium Accounting.

  • Communicate on notices of cancellation.

The Account Executive supports the Broker team by executing trades, managing accounts, and ensuring regulatory compliance. They collaborate with internal teams, stay informed about market trends, and provide strategic insights regarding clients. Additionally, they assist with new business and renewal submissions, review policy documents and invoices, and handle other client service activities.

Skills and Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in the insurance industry

  • Minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses within a designated time period if not currently licensed.

  • Bachelor's Degree (Business Administration, Sales, Risk Management, or similar preferred) n/a null
