We have a Warehouse Lead III opening at the Richmond State Supported Living Center.The Warehouse Lead III reports to the Warehouse Supervisor, Supply Services, and serves as the backup supervisor. Our team operates at each of our 23 facilities across the state, so come grow your career with us!The Warehouse Lead III is a key position for Supply Services with essential functions offering opportunities to gain experience related to using modern receiving software systems, warehouse equipment and logistics to assure the patients/residents we serve are supplied their needed supplies for daily living. The Warehouse Lead III performs advanced logistical inventory and warehouse work. In the absence of the warehouse supervisor, work involves coordinating warehouse operations and supplies, maintaining security of state property and warehouse stock inventory. This is a physically active and service-oriented position where a sense of energy, passion, honesty, good attendance, and personal responsibility are important. This position works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.Work Schedule: Monday and#150; Friday, 8am - 5pmBenefits: Paid vacation, sick, and holidays, 401(k), defined benefit retirement, health insurance (free for employee), life insurance, dental and vision insurance, loan forgiveness, 40 days for birth of a child, 20 days for adoption or birth of a child by the employeeand#146;s spouse or surrogate and more.Compensation Package:Annual Starting Salary $35,976.00Employer Paid Health Benefits $7,471.20Vacation Leave Accrued Annually $1,660.43Sick Leave Accrued Annually $1,660.43Total Annual Starting Salary and Benefit Package $46,768.07Essential Job FunctionsEJF 1 Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency and departmental leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.EJF 2 Coordinates staff duties by assigning, reviewing, and training in the areas of receiving, issuing, rotating stock, loading and unloading of trucks. Ensure necessary services and supplies are properly delivered to individuals and employees and the states assets are secure at all times. Ensures and plans for arrangement and rotation of stock to prevent spoilage, deterioration, and obsolescence to ensure quality and availability of warehouse stock. (35%)EJF 3 Coordinates and reviews the inventory and stock control records (receipts and issues) and warehouse reports in order to provide current and accurate information for inventory and warehouse operations. Generates replenishment requisitions. Trains staff in the use of MIMS in order to provide accurate and timely issuance of warehouse stock. Enters receipts, including numbered assets, into the CAPPS system; coordinates and trains other staff to receive accurately and timely. (25%)EJF 4 Advises staff on Supply Services SharePoint Procedures and Operating Instructions and assists staff with special problems in order to meet the goals and objectives of the department. Ensures an efficient system of warehouse management and control. Keeps supervisor advised on inventory, personnel performance, and any warehousing problems. (20%)EJF 5 Operates and trains staff on the use of material handling equipment including a forklift and pallet jack. Oversees safe handling of materials using forklifts. (10%)EJF 6 Completes other duties as assigned.
