The centers provide campus-based direct services and supports at 13 centers located throughout the state. If you are looking for a place to work where you can establish a career that is filled with purpose, this is the job for you!The Program Supervisor V - Director of Education and Training performs administrative and supervisory work, coordinating all vocational programs and active treatment services for the individuals residing at the Supported Living Center (SSLC). Organizes, plans, and coordinates functions involved in the operation and administration of all active treatment, vocational, recreational, and community inclusion programs to set goals and objectives and ensure they are achieved. Develops, implements and oversees policies and procedures to ensure that programs are of high-quality, adhere to best practices and regulations. Establishes program goals and objectives for the education and training department and uses data to measure performance, taking corrective action when necessary. Maintains a workforce that is appropriately configured, trained, and supported to provide high quality services and provides proper communication and guidance to that workforce. Coordinates quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with standards and applies continuous quality improvement strategies. Participates in an annual State Review with state office staff using Quality Service Review (QSR) and other monitoring tools. Ensures that the facilities vocational programs are implemented in accordance with Department of Labor (DOL), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), and other applicable, required standards. Oversees contracts. Works cooperatively with others. Serves on various committees and performs other duties as assigned. Works under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Programs (ADOP) with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
