Your role at Clorox:
To manage the ongoing development and growth of Burt’s Bees in the UK Grocery, Pharmacy and Department Stores Sectors and White Space opportunities.
To develop strong and distinct online and offline space (‘Omni’) growth plans.
The role is execution-focused with key requirements being the agreement of objectives and an activity plan for each account and then ensuring these are delivered in full using sales and cross functional resources to do so.
The role is based in Richmond but will require occasional travel to visit key accounts.
In this role, you will:
Managing activity plans for Business Results and Growth 80%
Be the first point of contact for nominated accounts both internally and externally.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailer teams, leading a successful joint business plan to deliver the Burt’s Bees strategy.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners & leverage opportunities for expansion into white space accounts and product areas.
Responsible for achieving NCS budget and meeting forecast targets.
Manage resources (Reduced Revenue & Sales Promotion budgets).
ROI reviews on major promotions/initiatives.
Lead regular review and planning meetings with customers to promote Burt’s Bees and agree growth plans with market visits.
Work closely with the trade marketing manager to develop and drive activity plans for nominated accounts.
Effectively communicate major account and competitor activity to the cross functional team to ensure markets receive relevant support and timely product delivery.
Ensure retailer processes, reports and forms are completed on time and understood by the cross functional team.
Drive in store field results based on AMPS (Assortment, Merchandising, Price and Shelving).
Reporting and planning 20%
Monitor and provide monthly reports by market on nominated accounts and its adherence to plan.
Act as lead for nominated accounts in ES&OP process.
Act as the lead on Forecasting, Strategy Letter, LRP and Budget input for nominated accounts.
Ensure retailer planning cycle is reflected in cross functional activities i.e. we are well prepared for category review meetings etc.
Act as the lead in negotiating changes to commercial agreements.

What we look for:
Years and Type of Experience:
5+ Experience of Key Account Management and Joint Business Planning, ideally with UK grocery.
Brand Management experience.
Experience in personal care products is desirable.
Experience in multinational organizations with values similar to Clorox.
Education Level/Degree: Bachelor’s degree preferred
Technical Skills:
Drive to achieve challenging retail growth targets.
Good Microsoft Office Package Knowledge, especially PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent planning and organizing skills.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Managerial Skills and Abilities:
Able to work with little supervision.
Ability to work cross functionally with a wide group of people from all levels.
Have an aptitude for organisation and administrative leadership.
Demonstrated ability to remain professional and efficient under demanding situations.
Must be able to demonstrate sound commercial judgment, comprehensive decision making and problem-solving skills.
Confident, optimistic, can-do attitude and a team player
Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
