Chevron Products Company is accepting online applications for the position of Quality Management Machinery Analyst / SME located at Richmond Refinery, CA through April 30th, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. PST

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Perform and document audits, primarily in the Refinery Machine Shop and outside shops. Communicate audit results to affected parties.

  • Look for trends in pump work where quality issues are observed and work with affected parties to close gaps. Support rework reduction initiatives.

  • Track machine shop and hold point monthly metrics and communicate to Quality Management Team Lead and other parties as appropriate.

  • Work with the Machinist procedure writer to develop and improve Procedures and Checklists to eliminate rework.

  • Work with Rotating Equipment Reliability Analysts to perform pump repair hold points at outside repair shops.

  • Support Quality Management team in the development of Quality Assurance requirements for rotating equipment.

  • Support Quality Management team to identify and track machinery specialty or craft-specific jobs for Turnarounds.

  • Conduct receipt inspections of materials, fabricated items, etc. as required to support Procurement when requested.

  • Actively support resolving field issues where quality is or could become an issue when requested.

  • Provide detailed reports and findings to stakeholders (Maintenance organizations, Capital Projects, Engineers, Analysts).

  • Support and perform inside and outside shop qualification assessments.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as a machinist or rotating equipment analyst.

  • High School Diploma

  • Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.

  • Strong leadership experience and skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and translate to value.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex and diverse datasets.

  • The compensation and reference to benefits for this role is listed on this posting in compliance with applicable law. Please note that the compensation and benefits listed below are only applicable for U.S. payroll offers.

  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $114,000 – $196,400 . The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
